Sly Park Lake- Ward Picnic 2013

Rachel had her first experience tubing and all the kids had a blast.  Nick came with us again and the boys had a pretty wild tube ride off the back of the boat.  The BBQ was great, the air was a little smokey but not too bad, and the water warm.  It was a relaxing day with our ward family, and I just can't get enough of the lake up here.

Cross Country

3 of my 6 kids are now running Cross Country. Ashlee began her conditioning in the summer, practices at school with her team 5 days a week, and has her first official meet today, where she will compete in a distance of 2 1/2 miles. She just received her uniform yesterday. The boys, Jacob and Noah, just joined the team at Pinewood, practice 3 days a week, and will have their first meet next week. They seem to be following in my footsteps as runners! Fun times ahead.

Bridal Veil Picnic Area

We love swimming at Bridal Veil Picnic Area. It's a beautiful little spot on the river located just off Hwy 50, about a 7 minute drive from our house. It is remote, quiet, and very peaceful (though it gets busy at times.) The kids and I love it.

Just These Two

Figuring out how to spend my days at home with just Anthony and Rachel. It's much easier to keep the house clean, and I enjoy spending quality time with them. Our favorite has been the park right down the street. It's a much easier load with just two at home.
